5. Musicians

During the course of the screening and the talks, we had the pleasure of hosting a few local musicians - a trio and a band. The band of musicians covered some of their favorite Filipino and non-Filipino songs while the trio played classic Filipino acoustic guitar which they usually play during mass. They made some of their own instruments. The instrument played by the lead musician is called a Bandoria and holds some rare gems inside, including a small Santo Niño.

They really added flavor to the talks and screening. The lead singer of the band could sing on forever in between the screening and the talks.

Of course, we couldn’t have done all of this without the support of JP Soundsystem, who helped with the sound system.
